I’ve always liked this player. Not everybody does. I get that. We used to have big discussions about him at EP Rinkside now Elite Prospects at the time.
Here is my last scouting on him:
Isaac Howard – RW – Can get a breakaway with his speed burst. Can pick the top corner or far side. Physical. Power forward. Fast action wrist shot from the slot. Long reach. Has great dekes. Plays bigger than 5-11.
I think the Edmonton Oilers got themselves a player. Right now. They are looking for ways to win the Stanley Cup and he is an upgrade for them. It may take some time this season for him to find his way in the best league in the world. But I think he will.
On the Oilers, he will be a high-end, third line guy. A guy who will provide secondary scoring.
