On draft day, nobody was more surprised than me when the Seattle Kraken were able to draft Jagger Firkus 35th overall in 2022. That 2022 NHL Draft was a good one, I get that, but he has a special goal-scoring ability that was evident then and now blossoming with 22 goals in his first 23 games for the Moosejaw Warriors.
I get that he’s a smaller player, but I think he’s one of the smaller players who can succeed. So far, so good for Seattle.
