Day 3 Players From The 2024 USHL Fall Classic

Here are a few more players to watch:

Ben Kevan – Des Moines – RW – This player is fast with the puck. He’s very effective on the rush and has a quick wrist shot. He helped set up a nice power-play goal. He could be a top 60 player in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Kolin Sisson – Chicago  – C – He played second-line center. I really liked his puck distributing on the power play. He will score quite a few goals with his wrist shot. He’s 5’9″ so, I’m not sure where he might fall in the 2025 NHL Draft. Adam Benak is better and I wonder where he will fall in the draft because he is 5’7″ and 154 pounds but uber talented.

Thomas Vandenberg – Cedar Rapids – C – He was playing third-line center. He is already almost six feet tall and he’s an 08! He’s 2026 NHL Draft eligible. He’s good at cycling the puck and he scored a nice wrist shot up the gut that fooled the goalie. He is a 2027-28 Providence recruit.

James Mackey – Cedar Rapids – D – He was playing top-pairing, left side. He is 6’6″, 240 pounds. He is from Villanova, PA. He’s an ’05, so he still could be drafted. He made safe passes, he is on the PL and he was playing the safety valve on defense. He’s worth keeping an eye on.

Noel Ohgren – Fargo Force – LW – He is Liam’s brother. He played on the top line. He’s a very good passer. He’s speedy and can get to the net. He’s a bit of a risk-taker at times. I’ll keep an eye on that for a potential late round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
